ROANOKE, Va. – The staff of one of the region’s most experienced and respected public relations and advertising firms has transitioned to new ownership and a new agency name – Thomas Becher Agency Inc., or tba.

Under the leadership of Thomas Becher, APR, tba will provide clients with continued service and expertise built upon the 30-year heritage of John Lambert Associates.

John W. Lambert Jr., APR, retaining the name John Lambert Associates, will continue as an independent public relations counselor.

“This seamless transition will enable tba to continue to provide full-service strategy, creativity and results for clients but with a fresh perspective and younger leadership,” Lambert said.

Becher, an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), was vice president of John Lambert Associates. He has served as manager of media relations for Northwest Airlines and director of corporate communications for Atlas Air, one of the world’s largest cargo airlines. He began his career as a reporter and editor with the Associated Press.
